I have an imitation satin purse that I spilled a little beer on last weekend. What do I use to clean the water spots off of it?

I looked this one up for you as I know that satin is a very delicate material and should never have contact with any chemicals or cleaning solvents. Looking in one of my many reference books I found the following for you…
Satin is aspecial silk fabric as are – crepe, chiffon, organza, voile, georgette, & taffeta to name a few.
Most care labels recommend dry cleaning only because some silk dyes will dissolve in water, causin “bleeding” and color transfer. Some unlined silk items can be hand-washed in lukewarm water using dishwashing liquid or other mild soap, or machine washed using a gentle cycle.
If the care label recommends hand washing, test for colorfastness by washing a small, inconspicuous area first. Knead the item gently in clear water to rinse, hang and let air dry.
Do not try to spot-clean stains, which also can weaken the fabric and cause permanent marks. NEVER use bleach on satin.
