Question by most profitable: after severe diarrhea, should you drink pure water only, or …. pepsi?
my hunch is that, diarrhea not only takes water out of ur system, but also… sodium sugar and other stuff. so if you only replenish pure water, it’s not gonna be good for your health, in that regard, drinking pepsi after diarrhea is actually not bad idea?

Water and fruit juice. Stay away from soda – too much sugar and other junk.
diarrhea dehydrates you so you need to drink to replace the lost water but i think water is probably better you will soon get sick of drinking anything else theres no harm in drinking some fizzy drinks but theres only so mush u can drink so water is best
Drinking pepsi is NEVER good idea. a good Isotonic drink is what will replenish the salts and electrolytes that have been lost.
Gatoraide
Water is the most important thing, because it’s what your body immediately needs to survive. If you feel like eating solid food, you can do that too. But if you don’t have an appetite, you can go a while without eating.
If you have a caffeine addiction, small amounts of Pepsi are probably okay, and it does have some water in it, but it also has too much junk.
To answer this you must first answer, Why is it that you have Diarrhea? After that figure up about how much water you lost. Drink that and a half. Try to keep it in your system for 2-3 hours. While waiting try eating small portioned meals with low sodium (Not no sodium, the foods need some sodium. Then concentrate on the “Wants” Pepsi, remember, has acid. That can cause your stomach to mess up even more, in turn causing your colon to be more liquid like. Try drinking a lot of water so as to not dehydrate first
