Question by popcorn: What is a present system of water purification which allows water to be purified to a potable standard?
This is mainly in reference to the bacteria eg giardia and cryptosporidium. But links to websites that give the process of the water purification method used, any info etc etc all help much appreciated! thanks!! =D

Sedimentation and filtration are used to clarify water. Chlorination is by far the most widely used method of disinfecting water.
